This traditionally-styled leather footstool with stud detailing is made from antiqued hide. The cow hide selected to make the stool has as many surface scars and natural marks as possible to imitate years of wear and tear in its appearance, and is hand stained with 6 different colours before being fixed and waxed to give it its aged look. The stool’s hardwood frame is glued, screwed and dowelled for strength. The feather seat cushion rests on serpentine springs, while the antiqued hardwood feet complete the look of a stool that looks as though it's been around for years! |
