These intelligent fibres have a unique slow-diffusion 'self cleaning' mechanism that prevents dust mite allergens and delivers anti-microbial effect. These anti-allergenic properties create a fresh and healthy place to sleep and provide constant and continuous protection for the life of the product.The mattress in this set uses independently pocketed springs, which respond to the contours of the body. On top of these are a range of fillings, all of which are chosen for their own special qualities: purest lambswool gives warmth in winter and coolness in summer. It also aids moisture control; hypo-allergenic reflex foam provides a soft yet supportive feel; cotton felt creates a soft surface; white fibre is a dust-free filling, which provides softness and resilience.The whole mattress is covered in the finest quality belgian damask and finished with felt tufts, which hold the mattress fillings securely in place. It also has double flag-stitched handles and ventilation holes that aid air circulation. Finally the sides of the mattress are hand-stitched. This extends the sleeping area to the mattress edge by supporting the mattress walls.The divan base is of sturdy construction and has a padded top for a firmer foundation. The strong timber frame is glued and screwed together for extra strength and sits on the highest quality castors. The drawers, if you choose them, are made of fine timber with dovetail joints for added strength. On the two drawer beds, small single and single beds have two large drawers on one side and all other sizes have one large drawer at either side of the footend.
