The salcombe classic bedstead has a romantic elegance that will add charm and beauty to any bedroom. It is available in two hand polished finishes and features the usual relyon characteristics of fine crafting and attention to detail. This model features a central sweeping figure of eight in the brass work that compliments the twist detail on the corner and central finials. Add to this high quality castors and you have a beautiful and practical choice for any bedroom. This bed has an elegant antique finish which is available in brass or silver. This is achieved through a painstaking hand polishing process. All the beds tubing and details are darkened, then some areas are polished to a high shine whilst others are left dull, simulating the appearance of antique furniture. This bed is available in three sizes and with two base options. Relyon's standard integral slats are sprung beech slats, which are arc shaped and so respond to the weight above, resisting mattress sagging and therefore increasing comfort. These self assembly slats need to be individually locked into place when assembling the frame. Please note the mattress is not included with this bed.
