Foam fillings provide a firm and supportive feel while the cotton-felt fillings create a soft surface. The whole mattress is covered in the finest quality belgian damask and finished with felt tufts, which hold the mattress fillings securely in place. It also has double flag-stitched handles and ventilation holes that aid air circulation. The divan base is of sturdy construction. The strong timber frame is glued and screwed together for extra strength and sits on durable olympic castors. This model has a padded top for a firmer foundation. It is available with a sprung edge, which gives a softer feel, or shallow base, which is easy to clean under.
